Response to Covid-19
Quarantine cabin fever has set in and some of our guests have considered going underground or even coming to the Silver Bow Club. The ranch in itself makes a great apocalypse bunker with outstanding fishing and many other self-isolated activities. We are all concerned about the events taking place in the world.
Currently, all of us involved in the travel industry, not just the Silver Bow Club, are going to endure a hard season, plain and simple. Travel is one of the hardest hit industries.
The Silver Bow Club To Open May 1
The lodge and cabins will open as scheduled on May 1st. If you are not familiar, the fishing is outstanding in May! Our Mother’s Day caddis hatch is the subject of many fly fishing articles and mentions in guide books.
To all of you who have already booked with us, whether it’s your first time or you’re coming back, THANK YOU for doing so! We absolutely appreciate your business and we really enjoy hosting you all at the ranch.
Extra Cleaning Measures
I think this goes without saying, while we have always taken pride in providing outstanding accommodations, please know we plan to be extra diligent with hygiene and the sanitation of our lodging facilities, and equipment used in activities. Your safety, and the safety of our staff, are our top priority.
Concerning Our Cancellation Policy
Due to all these things surrounding Covid-19, we have implemented changes to our cancellation policy to help accommodate everyone and encourage people to come stay with us. We also understand that travel restrictions could necessitate a change in your plans.
Silver Bow Club Cancellation Policy
“A written notice of change of plans (91) days or more prior to arrival will allow for 100% of your deposit to be applied towards a future trip within (1) year of original trip date, based on availability. For cancellations or alterations of plans (61-90) days before your reserved trip date, 75% of your deposit will be applied towards a future trip if booked within (1) year of original trip date, based on availability. For cancellations or alterations of plans (31-60) days before your reserved trip date, 50% of your deposit will be applied towards a future trip if booked within (1) year of original trip date based on availability. For cancellations or alterations of plans (30) days or less in advance will be non-refundable No-shows or early departures are also non-refundable.”
Cancellation Due to Covid-19
There is an exception to our cancellation policy for 2020. If you feel the need to cancel or alter your trip this season, with 60 days notice, we will allow you reschedule your trip before the end of 2021 season.

We hope that you will join us this season. I think we all need a vacation and Montana has plenty of wide open spaces for social distancing. In reality, hasn’t that always been one of many reasons for vacationing here? Wide open spaces, fresh air, and enjoying the outdoors–there is nothing better.
