Fish Montana Rivers, Hunt Montana Pheasant
Fall is our favorite season at the Silver Bow Club. Mornings are cool, days are warm and sunny, while evenings are crisp and starlit. We are a licensed pheasant hunting preserve and our season opens September 1. Book a cast and blast vacation in September or October and enjoy the season’s best fly fishing and pheasant hunting.
Our Cast and Blast vacation includes a full day of fishing on the Big Hole, Beaverhead, or Ruby River. Fall is a wonderful time to fish Southwest Montana. Cooler days and nights mean cooler river temperatures and decreased irrigation needs. Great fishing awaits in September and October!
Start your day of pheasant hunting at our challenging, 5 station trap range. Then head out to the hay meadows along the Big Hole River in search of pheasants. We provide a guide and seasoned hunting dogs.
The next day, you’ll be greeted by your fishing guide just after breakfast for a full day on the river. Catch rainbow and brown trout along with cutthroats and arctic grayling. Enjoy a streamside lunch while surrounded by the incredible scenery of Southwest Montana.
Waterfowl Hunts on the Beaverhead River
Customize your Cast and Blast vacation to include a duck hunt on the Beaverhead River. Waterfowl hunts begin in October. For best fishing, book a cast and blast during the first two weeks of October.
The Beaverhead River offers some of the best duck hunting opportunities in Montana. This winding waterway features numerous warm springs and wetlands with acres and acres of nearby agriculture lands.
Duck populations are large. The habitat is perfect – willows and cattails, slow-moving marshlands, and ample fields of feed.
